Type:
Nonprofit Organization

Their Need: To have a new overall look. The Frederick County Tourism Council was concerned about the look and functionality of their site. They wanted a site that was easy to read and allowed the user to find what they wanted quickly. The ability to make changes to the site fast and effectively.

Our Solution: The JaBITCo Group, Inc. redeveloped the site so that users could easily find what they were looking for. We provided a drop-down menu to make the site easier to navigate without cluttering the home page with navigational buttons. We designed the site with easy maintenance in mind. The site is primarily maintained by the Tourism Council through a database that was previously used to keep track of members. We modified their existing database to work with their website to save them time.

Type: Annual Craft Festival

Their Need: The Maryland Mountain Festival came to us looking to accomplish several goals. First and foremost, like most other companies, they wanted to have a presence on the Internet. They wanted to provide information for both the exhibitors and the visitors of the show. They were also looking to streamline some typical everyday office tasks by giving the exhibitors forms to fill out online.

Our Solution: After meeting with The Maryland Mountain Festival, we transformed their ideas into working ideas for the web site. We designed most of the site to market towards the visitors that would be coming to the show. We also designed, however, a section that was for the exhibitors. The Maryland Mountain Festival had informed us that they were currently handling all applications.

Type: Nonprofit Organization

Their Need: The Rotary Club of Carroll Creek needed to accomplish several goals with their website: first, they wanted to replace their printed member directory with a more current, online database. Second, they wanted to have a central calendar of events with which the members could keep their personal calendars current. Lastly they wanted a way to send email to an entire committee with one click, without having to continually update their mailing list.

Our Solution: Since the Rotary Club of Carroll Creek had definitive goals in mind for their site, it was easy for us to work with them to achieve those goals. We provided an administration section to allow the Rotary Club to manage the data on their extranet in its entirety.
